The Annual General Meeting is an annual activity that affords WANEP Liberia and its member organizations the opportunity to review institutional activities and plan for the future. In February 2003, WANEP-Liberia hosted its first Annual General Meeting. That meeting focused on the consolidation of an established restructuring process. The first phase of the institutional reorganization focused on the review of WANEP Constitution and the adoption of a new organizational structure.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of 2006 therefore completes the restructuring process by initializing the strategic plan (2006-2009) and harmonized plan with the functioning and strengthening of WANEP-Liberia member institutions. The AGM set a new standard (Policy Document) for the network in dealing with its member institutions.
The meeting also developed a Strategic Plan that would take the network up to 2008.
